Welcome to Humanities Open House 2005, the day-long celebration of humanistic inquiry at the University of Chicago. The Division of the Humanities was established within the University of Chicago in 1930, and in honor of our 75 th birthday we are delighted to share with you, free of charge, the variety, ingenuity, and excitement that characterizes humanities scholarship today.

UPDATE: Registration is closed

Registration is now closed for Saturday’s presentations. If you would like to attend any of the open programs, please visit our registration desk in the lobby of the Walker Museum (1115 E 58th St). The lobby will be open starting at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, and you will be able to reserve your spot for any available program then.

ROOM CHANGES:
